The Grand Marshals for the 2017 Edgebrook 4th of July Parade will be Dionne Miller, of ABC 7 News and Don Savage, “the oldest Cubs fan”.

Dionne Miller joined the ABC 7 Eyewitness News Sports team as weekend sports anchor and reporter in October of 2014. “My husband and our two young children love calling Edgebrook home,” she said.

Don Savage, 99, grew up in Chicago and attended World Series games at Wrigley Field in 1929 and 1945. He finally saw the Cubs win the World Series in 2016.

Edgebrook Community Association is honored to have these two neighborhood residents represent our community spirit during the annual festivities.

The theme of this year’s celebration is “That’s Edgebrook” – after Cubs official slogan for 2017 “That’s Cub”. The festivities will include games, prizes, bouncy house, picnic food, ice cream by the Chocolate Shoppe and a performance by The Country Doctors. The parade starts at 11 AM at Edgebrook Elementary school and the celebration continues at Wildwood Park starting at 12 PM.
